Our Services

Emergency Relief

We can help you with food, referrals, information or other types of assistance. Financial Emergency Relief is available, preferred by appointment Monday – Friday 10:30am – 1:30pm. Call the Deloraine House on 6362 2678 to make an appointment

Help with Finances

Available through appointment with Anglicare by calling 1800 007 007 to arrange a meeting at Deloraine House.

Housing Connect

Anita can assist you with any housing inquiries. She can help you with Housing TAS applications and other not for profit housing organisations. She can also help with bond assistance for private rentals and supported accommodation. Anita can also link people in with other support services. Funding

Deloraine House Inc is an independent not-for profit-incorporated body. Funding comes from a variety of sources, but we are predominately funded by the Crown through the Department of Department of Premier and Cabinet.

 

Acknowledgement of the Traditional Owners of the Land


The land on which Deloraine House stands is Aboriginal land, home to the Pallittorre people, and a trader route for many others.
The traditional owners of this land were part of the North Nation and lived on the island of Tasmania for over fifty thousand years.
Deloraine House pays respect to the Tasmanian Aboriginal and Torres Strait people – the original owners and the continuing custodians of these lands.
